CHAPTER 11

A Night Out

The plans for tonight had changed. Damon and Keegan would eliminate the rogues from Paris with a special squad of immortals trained to eliminate and contain problems from Damon’s holdings. That meant Cait and I had the night off. Damon arranged for us to spend a night in Paris. We were going to one of his clubs. We felt incredible to finally be going out on the town. We were joking and laughing as we rounded the base of the stairs to leave. There stood Simon and Bastian, dressed like rock stars, waiting in the foyer. Shit, chaperones! Well, wait a minute I needed to rethink this. They are damn good looking chaperones. I grinned at the eye-candy before me.

“Hi guys,” I said with raised eyebrows and a flirtatious smile, “Why are you all dressed up? Are you going somewhere?”

With his own sexy grin, Simon spun around and said, “We are going to the club with you two. Damon has the night planned. You can do all the dancing you want. We will be your escorts of course.”

“Escorts huh?”

I looked at Simon and Bastian with a smirk on my face.

“So, it’s like a date then?”

“No. Not really a date?”

“What shall we call it then?”

“We are your security team tonight.”

“But, it’s not a date?”

“No, it’s not a date Shannon.”

Simon left me speechless. I knew Caitlyn was thinking how hot Bastian looked. She has a little lust thing going on for him. She drools whenever she sees him.

“Simon, do you old guys think you can keep up with us,” I said as I grabbed my jacket.

“Shannon, we are up for anything you can think of. You two may not be able to keep up with us. We’ve had a great deal more time to practice, than you two.”

“Honey, if I can keep up with a Seal Team, I can keep up with you guys!”

“We’ll wait and see Shannon. A Seal Team would be like a bunch of boy scouts compared to a vampire team!”

“Are we loving ourselves a little too much tonight Simon?” I really love Simon when he is acting arrogant. Being handsome and arrogant is double the fun.

The four of us left the house in the black stretch limo. The club had a long waiting line at the front entrance, Simon told the limo driver to pull up to the side door. I asked him, “Are we sneaking in the back Simon?”

“I do not sneak Shannon. This, of course, is Lord Damon’s club. We are his honored guests. We are going in through the VIP entrance, which is only used by the bold and beautiful people of Paris. Nothing but the best for our date tonight, ladies.”

Simon was looking very sexy at that moment.

“So, you do consider this a date huh?” I winked at him and raised my eyebrows just slightly in a questioning look. “Do you have any plans for later?”

Simon did not answer my question, but simply looked at me. As the side door opened, we stepped out of the limo.
